Why Dance?

Dancing is a superbly health-engendering form of art. It engages the body, the mind, and the senses. It gets the heart pumping, the adrenaline running, the smiles flowing. It teaches us how to be better people, better partners.

A wise woman once said to the depressed and the stressed, "When was the last time you danced?"

What Happens During Dance Support?

As your favorite music plays, Laurana leads a 50-minute session of freeform dance, creative movement, and skill building. The session is interactive and motivated by a fun and playful atmosphere. Depending on your current skills and goals, we move to:

  • Increase your physical stamina and strength
  • Expand your movement vocabulary
  • Improve your general health and well-being

About Laurana

Laurana is a Dayton-based performing artist specializing in movement, awareness, and health. Laurana loves to share her joy of movement with others. She has been on stage artistically and professionally since 2006 and has been facilitating movement since 2011.
