Raising Meals with the Last Waltz
Here in Dayton, we feed the hungry with art.
On February 24th, Dayton musicans, artists, and friends gathered to recreate the performances from The Last Waltz, the film version of The Band's final
concert on November 25th, 1976.
What began as one man's dream became an event that brought hundreds together to support each other and their community.
Chris Shea and I chorographed and performed a dance to the opening waltz.
We raised nearly 23,000 meals for The Foodbank that night.
